tracyha Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 I have used this site several times but this is my first time posting! Need great hotel in NYC 6/16-6/18 for anniversary visit. Prefer MTE or MTW. Would like to spend $150 or less per night. How would you proceed with bidding- including free bids? Thanks.
thereuare Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Would you also consider bidding the UM/CPS zone? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
tracyha Posted May 2, 2006 Author Report Posted May 2, 2006 I can but would prefer midtown. What is the advantage?
thereuare Posted May 3, 2006 Report Posted May 3, 2006 Increased bidding opportunities. The UM/CPS is usually more expensive than the MTE and MTW areas so chances are low that you would receive a property in this area, but if you do, they're usually very nice (and this is still very much considered 'midtown').If you don't want to stay in this area then we'll suggest a strategy w/o using the UM/CPS zone, but for the average visitor all three zones (MTE, MTW, and UM/CPS) are usually acceptable. tracyha Posted May 3, 2006 Author Report Posted May 3, 2006 Sounds good. Please advise then using all three zones.
