Priceline Hotel: need hotel in Vancouver May 22-24

Can you help? I have tried bidding up to $120/night for a four star hotel with no luck. Does it really help to expand the area? Looking at previous instructions I see advice to add "zone 1" . But there is no "zone 1" on priceline, just "Burnaby" and other outlying areas. I don't want to spend more than $150/night US with taxes and I do not like some of the three star properties. I want to be near the water if I can. We are arriving via cruise ship in Vancouver. I assume all Priceline and US pricing for Vancouver is in US$$? It does not say.

Zone1, Zone2, etc, all refer to re-bidding, which is explained here: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained

When bidding 4* in Vancouver you have three such re-bid zones available. Please read thru the above thread and ask any questions you have and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board... we'll then suggest a strategy for you to follow.

Also, what is your maximum bid before taxes and fees.

I have read all the rebidding info. When rebidding on priceline Vancouver, there are no numbered options. They have descriptors only, so there is no ZONE 1. There is no ZONE 2. At least none has been presented to me and I have rebid three times so far for Vancouver.

OK, we'll take this one step at a time.

List each zone in Vancouver and the highest star rating available in each zone. Use this technique from Priceline Re-Bidding Explained:

The way to check what star levels are available in each zone is to open a Priceline page, check ONLY the zone you are inquiring about, and then proceed to the next page (as if you were going to select a zone)... this will give you the available star ratings in that area. You can then hit BACK on your browser, uncheck the current box, check the next box, and repeat the process. It is important to do this before EACH attempt at adding a zone that you really don't want, as new hotels can be added and the star ratings can change at any time.
