hawaii Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 I want to bid on a 4* hotel on the strip in Vegas from 6/6/06 to 6/11/06, but my problem is I don't want the Westin Casaurina. In my opinion the Westin is not on the strip and it's just a boring property.I'll take any other 4* hotel over the Westin, but I think that because the price range of a hotel like the Aladdin and the Westin are similar my chances of getting stuck with the Westin are huge.Any opinions?

hawaii Posted May 1, 2006 Author Report Posted May 1, 2006 EasyClickTravel is offering an average of $111 a night (not including tax & fees) at the Aladdin so I'm hoping to get a bid accepted for $20 less less then that.
thereuare Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 That $111/nite rate at the Aladdin is not available for the first nite of your stay... is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option since this stay covers midweek and weekend dates? hawaii Posted May 1, 2006 Author Report Posted May 1, 2006 Splitting it is not a problem. The weekday rate at the Aladdin with easy click travel is $67 with $154 for the weekend. Do you think I can get the weekend rate at the Aladdin for less than $154? Easy click is showing the weekend rate for the Westin as $146. I would think that Priceline would be more likely to stick people with the Westin and save the Aladdin for higher bidders. What do you think?
thereuare Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 Actually the Aladdin is now showing 'available' for all of the dates above and the rate is down to $103/nite!I don't think you're going to be able to beat that with Priceline, nor is there any way to guarantee avoiding the Westin when bidding on Priceline. You could look at Hotwire, but i already did and it's not competitive, even when splitting your purchase. The Aladdin is probably going to be your best, and least expensive, bet.Let us know if you that's what you go with, and please use the link in this post to begin your EasyClickTravel purchase.
