Question - as diamond in Hilton Honors, will I get lounge access?

From the FAQ in the booklet that comes with the Diamond card:

Question: "Will I still receive Diamond VIP benefits if I book my stay via Priceline.com, Hotwire.com, or similar booking channels?"

Answer: "You will not receive any Diamond VIP benefits, nor will you earn hotel points, stay credits or airline mileage credit for stays booked via a channel where the hotel brand is unknown at time of purchase."

Sometimes you'll get some benefit(s) anyway, but it's a crapshoot with the odds very high against you.

You might be pleasantly surprised if you've never stayed at this Hilton. It's quite attractively laid out, they have a very nice lounge to sit and have a drink, and their fitness center is exceptional.

I have been to this hotel before, its not bad, it has a nice club lounge. I wanted the Hyatt just to start the FFN promo. No big deal.

As for benefits, I would think that I would get club access at a minimum by showing my diamond card.

I too wanted that Hyatt Dulles again for a December stay and the free night. Got it for $45 in Novemver so wonder when Hilton started going that low?
