hawkeyegirl Posted April 24, 2006 Report Posted April 24, 2006 Hi!I ran across a 3.5-star hotel on Hotwire for $100 (6-19 through 6-23). Ammenities include Restaurant(s), Fitness Center, and Business Center. It is originally $144. Also, if purchasing a room using Hotwire, do you get a decent room with decent views? Thanks for your input!
thereuare Posted April 24, 2006 Report Posted April 24, 2006 Rooms assignments are based upon availability at check-in... all that is guaranteed is a room that will accomodate the number of people you included in your search. If you must have a room with a view then you are probably better off booking direct (there are direct links to all the major hotel chains in our support page). However, given Hotwire lists this property as "$144/nite retail" you'd be saving roughly $40/nite (x3 = $120). Is the view worth you spending an extra $100+?When put as the above most consider it's worth the risk of a bad view.Let us know if the unknown room assignment is a deal breaker for you, and if not, we'll try to help identify the property above. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
