Same Day Bid.

First went to Hotwire and found a downtown 3* for 88 - Appeared to be the Holiday on the Bay. I based my bidding on that as a backup

Bid first for 4* in Downtown, Point Loma, then Coronodo 68, 73, 78

Then

Bid for 3* in Downtown, Point Loma, then Coronodo 63, 68

Sheraton Suites Gaslamp on 7th and "A" Street

VERY nice hotel. Large Rooms with separate bath and shower - 1 BR suites with french doors and a nice living room area. A few blocks west of the action but still very close. 2 blocks from the trolley.

Great deal- Sheraton internet rate $169

Also, Sheraton messed up and printed me Priceline's bill. It was $65 (marked as Opaque) + Occupancy tax 6.85 for a total of $71.85 verses $68 +15.33 for a total of $83.33. I'm not sure if that helps or not, but I guess it gives another key to the puzzle.
