chiphoto
Just booked a 2 night stay at hilton head beach and golf resort for $80 a night. There's a little trick with hilton head. It's a very small area and there are only 3 "resorts" within that area, so you really can't loose. Bid low, and you'll probably get a deal. If not come back in 24hours and try again.I would like to request a queen size bed for my girlfriend and I to stay in. How do I go about doing that? Do I just call the hotel and give them my priceline confirmation number? Can I make any other request in terms of the room? Thanks Link to comment
Aprilmay
Congrats on winning your hotel room! Hopefully you've already reported it to the board here!Yes, just call the hotel and make your requests. I've found, of course, that the nicer you are to the reservations agent, the better your chance of avoiding the "Sorry, you have a Priceline reservation and I can't take your request" line. Be sure to restate your requests again when you check-in. I've always been given the room that I've requested, but I'm sure not everyone has had the same luck. Good luck. Link to comment
ufjoe21
Priceline reservations can't gurantee bedding type, smoking preference, etc. The best thing to do is upon check-in ask for it but they might not be able to accomodate you. 50/50 shot but that comes with the territory of using priceline. If you book directly you can request bedding and smoking preferences and supposedly have a gurantee (but that's not alway true anyways!), etc. but of course it's much more expensive. Link to comment
