I got this hotel on priceline for $120 a night for 4/7-4/9.

Plus: right on the beach, although its a ways back til you actually get to the water. My guess is to protect the hotel during flooding/storms. Elevator. Friendly staff. Free parking.

Cons: Received a 2-double bed room on priceline and at checkin, asked if I could switch to a king bed room. I was told it would be a charge of $309 a night for that. I've never had to pay extra to swtich to a different style room before. I thought it was a bit absurd. I expected the hotel would be more like a "hotel' based on the website. But it was more of a motel style. All the entrances to the rooms were from the outside. The bedding in the room was awful -- it looked cheap and tacky. My biggest complaint was the water. It had a VERY strong sulfur/salt smell to it that stuck on our skin after showering. It was almost unbearable to brush our teeth.

Overall - not a bad place, but would I stay there again? Probably not.
