Short and sweet - is there any strategy to bidding when more than two persons will be staying in a room?

I will be traveling to SF on 7/1-3/06.

To this point, it looks like its either try to lowball bid for two rooms or just suck it up and pay outright for guaranteed two-bed room.

Any help is appreciated.

Want to ID 4* In USE, 7/1-3/06

Hotwire listing a 4* Hotel for $119 per night (4 persons).

"RETAIL $179.10"

Amenities listed are: "RESTAURANTS, FITNESS CENTER, BUSINESS CENTER"

"CUSTOMER FAVORITE"

Shows TRIPADVISOR rating of 3.5 Stars, Last Review in Jan 06.

Best guess, anyone?

Other than bidding on two rooms or sticking with Hotwire, "no".

The above Hotwire property matches the Argent, Grand Hyatt, and Westin St. Francis... so could be any of the above. (i'm leaning towards the Argent, but could realistically be any of the three)
