Argyle Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 Hi all,I've gone on Hotwire and noticed that they have a downtown Montreal hotel with the exact amenities as the 3.5* hotel mentioned HERE, but it's listed as 3 stars. There is one 3.5 star hotel, but it only has 2 amenities. Is Hotwire known to change its rankings? I'm wondering if they changed the Wyndham to 3 stars. Thanks!
thereuare Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 As stated in the paragraph above each hotel by city list, Hotwire (as well as Priceline) can change the ratings on a hotel at any time. The amenities listed are fairly common for any hotel, so my first guess would be that it indeed is NOT the same hotel mentioned in the other post.We may be able to help further if you supply the dates of your search. Argyle Posted October 19, 2003 Author Report Posted October 19, 2003 Thanks. My search results were based on a check-in date of 11/23 and checkout on 11/30/03.
thereuare Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 The information i have is that the Wyndham is still rated 3.5*, so the 3* you are seeing is indeed most likely a different hotel. Argyle Posted October 19, 2003 Author Report Posted October 19, 2003 Thank you for the quick response on that!Cheers
Argyle Posted October 19, 2003 Author Report Posted October 19, 2003 I forgot to ask, do you have an inkling as to which hotel that 3-star might be?Thank youedit - Oh duh... I forgot to look at this page for my answer. I guess it's the Holiday Inn Select.
thereuare Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 Not necessarily... the Holiday Inn you referenced also lists a Laundry icon, which the amenities for the hotel you listed doesn't.
