ItalianPrincess
I need help getting a strategy for this. I saw previous posts but I am not an experienced priceline bidder. I need a hotel for 4/21-4/23. My price limit is $160 without taxes. Please give me some advice. :) Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! We will be happy to suggest a step-by-step strategy for you to follow, but first you'll need to understand Priceline Re-Bidding Explained. Please read the previous link and let us know if you understand it or if you have any questions (feel free to confirm your re-bid zones with the board). As a hint, in NYC you have two re-bid zones available when bidding 4* and only one re-bid zone available when bidding 3*.Let us know if you have questions regarding the above or if you know your re-bid zones and we'll take it from there. ItalianPrincess
We just bid up to 152 on both 3* and 4* in MTW MTE MTS because those are our acceptable regions. Link to comment
thereuare
At the 3* level you have one re-bid zone available. ItalianPrincess
I did the bidding strategy but got nothing. Would I have better luck if I just waited a couple of days and tried again? I was looking at last minute deals on Hotels.com and they had the Doubletree for 189 which would mean if I waited a little closer to the date it would give me a better chance. Link to comment
