pdenk Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 Looking on Hotwire for the night of 7/10/06 checking out 7/11/06. We are coming to Chicago area to see Tut, but are staying the first two nights in the Oakbrook area as I got a great deal at the LaQuinta. We would like to stay downtown one night so the girls (13 and 9) can shop and see the sights downtown. Ofcourse, we would like to stay smack dab in the middle of it all in a really cool place that won't break the bank.I found a 4* N.Michigan/WaterTower/GoldCoast.......Rest/Fitness/Business for $155 4* Mag Mile/Wacker Dr./Fitness/Spa/Internet/Business/Rest/Pool for $210Any idea what these are and which would be best for us? I was thinking somewhere near American girl/Hancock building?I don't know, would a view of the lake and Navy Pier be better? We will be going to the field museum on the 9th, so already done with that. I know we are going to afternoon tea at the Four Seasons or somewhere like that.
thereuare Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 As per our HOTWIRE HOTEL LIST for this area:The NMA hotel is a match for the Millennium Knickerbocker and the Sofitel so either of those would be our best guess (leaning towards the Knickerbocker). The MagMile hotel (which i don't see when doing a search for your date above) is a match for the W Chicago Lakeshore so that would be our best guess for that property.Let us know what you decide to do or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
