oakr8der Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Hi I am looking for a Hotel (Orlando/Disney) that would accomodate (5) 2 adults two children twins (7) and 1 infant 10 months, are there any hotels that I can look at using Priceline? it seems that most of them say 4 max, i've been told to just say 4 and that the room will accomodate the 5 of us and there won't be any issues, just looking for 1 night before moving on to the Disney property April 22nd arrival departing on the 23rd. Any help that you can provide here would be very much appeciated.Thank you

oakr8der Posted April 1, 2006 Author Report Posted April 1, 2006 certainly willing to take the risk, max bid would be in the 100.00 range, prefer to be close to disney...I saw where some people were getting the Gaylord, others downtown disney Hilton...any tips would be very much appreciated. Also what is the difference between selecting 3 star vs. resort category?Thank you
LoneStar Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 I strongly recommend a "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding the occupancy level of your room. Obviously, if the room has two double or queen beds, you'll all "fit" (although I make no guarantee about your comfort!). Once you have a successful bid, call the hotel and ask for the 2-bedded room and, if you like, whether they offer complimentary cribs (some do, some don't). I always brought my pack-and-play if there was a crib charge.BTW, when I was travelling with an infant, I always thought we hit a home run when we got a room with a walk-in closet large enough for a crib to fit in (this way everyone didn't have to go to bed when baby did). Of course, some parents are aghast at the idea of putting their precious bundle of joy in a closet. Those are usually first-time parents. :)
