I needed something close to the airport with a shuttle or on the 992 bus line and was willing to go down to a 1 star.

(I'm flying in late in the evening and meeting up with the rest of my party at the airport in the morning then travelling to Baja. Rental car was much cheaper in Mexico vs US and the mexican insurance)

Anyway,

San Diego Downtown 4/14 2.5* $71 Holiday Inn Harbor View ($149/night on Holiday inn's website)

Got "upgraded" to the 2.5* holiday inn with airport shuttle for the $71 bid.

No hotwire or priceline in Baja and its killing me. Also very limited no other online hotel sites cover it very good either. I had to fall all they back in technology of going to get the AAA books. GEEZ. I hope ensenada is worth the trip.

Is this date correct? It's the same nite as your BWI Airport stay.

Yes, its correct. I had to put 2 minor kids on a plane to FL Saturday AM; however, to shave $200 off 3 tickets I sent 3 folks ahead to San Diego the afternoon/night before. Therefore I need 2 hotels rooms 2,500 miles away from each other on the same night.
