Priceline Hotel: 3* NYC (MTE) Roosevelt Hotel

Took me a long long time, but finally I found something good in NYC midtown during April. It'll be a 3 night stay from April 25th.

Started bidding for 4* at $80 all the way to $200, in this order without success:

Then tried 3* and finally got the Roosevelt @ $150. I have an Australian address, and have read the thread about overseas credit cards.. u.s zip code, u.s city. Any overseas bidders had any troubles when checking into the hotel and presenting i.d, confirmation no. etc?

Was $150 your first bid in the MTE zone at the 3* level? (if not, do you recall your highest rejected bid at this star category in the MTE zone?)

I started the bidding at $85 for the 3* level over a few days. $150 was the highest bid that I made, which got accepted. This forum was very helpful in giving me a bidding strategy! :) Keep it up.

In other words... what was the amount of your highest previously rejected bid?

At the 3* level you say you worked your way up from $85, so what was the highest rejected amount between $85 and $150?

The Roosevelt was a pretty nice stay. To answer your question, the highest rejected bid at the 3 star level was $140.
