I've been trying for a few days, but no luck till now.

My bidding history is; ( Followed thereuare's straregy)

Bid $110, if rejected add UM/CPS...

Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $130, if rejected clsoe browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

I don't seem to recall, nor can i find, suggesting the above strategy to you. It's NOT recommended to follow strategies for dates that are different than you own.

What is your maximum bid? Do you have a back-up reservation anyplace? Do you really want to include Downtown in your bidding?

How about the Beekman Tower as a back-up? The reviews are very good and it's cancellable up until 72 hours before your check-in date so you can continue to try the opaque services as your date gets closer.

The hotel is a bit east, but walking in June the weather should be nice (~10 minutes to the subway, bus right near the hotel (which can also take you to the subway if you really don't want to walk))

Actually, I and my friend are thinking about maximum $200 (if it doesn't really work, I can add $20 more,

but not now.)

we don't have any backup reservation yet. I just want to wait till may. ( Is it too late?)

For travelers, DT area is not good? I just added DT to increase my chance to get a room.

My preference is MTE or MTW, but if it is impossible, I can include DT.

Do you think spliting days give me more chances to get a hotel?
