Priceline Hotel: need help to bid 5* vegas hotel on Apr 20-22

Greetings,

I am a newcomer to PL hotel bidding. I tried a couple of days to bid for 5* hotel for our vacation trip. My bid went up to 120 to 130, but got nothing. :)

I am sure there are some tricks to get decent price for 5*, guys and gals, please help me.

Some questions?

1, I cannot select boulder strip when I first bid, is it normal?

2, what is "Rebid free" mentioned in the other postings?

Please shed some light on my bidding strategy.

One of your dates is sold-out and the other is $250+... so unless things change you won't be successful for either nite (nor both) at $140.

Do you have alternate plans? Do you want to look for a 4* property thru Priceline, Hotiwre, or elsewhere? What would you budget be for a 4* property?

I don't suppose SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID is an option for this two nite stay? (a mid-week adn weekend combination in Vegas is not recommended)
