joanelle Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 For two weeks, I have been repeatedly bidding for either Mayfair/Soho or Bloomsbury zones, for three weekend nights in May, rejected bids ranged from $55 to $75. I was going slowly because so many others have been successful under $70 for these zones. Finally I decided to up my limit to $85.Today I bid $76 Bloomsbury rejected.Opened a new bid for Mayfair Soho 4* at $81. Accepted! (By the way, I continued to receive Priceline counter offers of $88 for this zone)Your Offer Price: $81.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Subtotal: $243.00 Taxes & Service Fees:$52.65 Total Charges: $295.65 Now my college age daughters will have a safe place to stay upon arrival in Europe!P.S. I appreciate this site, and especially the great attitude of the moderators. I have lurked for some time, this is my first post. I am glad I can add to the database!
