Priceline Hotel: 3* Philadelphia Suburbs (Exton-Melvern) Sheraton Great Valley

Hi,

Just got 3 rooms at the Sheraton Great Valley for 3 nights.

First bid $40 a night for a 3* and was rejected. They countered with a 'suggestion' to bid $52 without changing anything else.

I followed the excellent advice on the "Priceline Tips" forum and added an area without a 3* or above and raised my bid to $45.

BINGO!!

Best thing is that it's the official hotel of the event we're attending and it's half the price of the special rate offered through the event.

Thanks to seningen for posting his previous winning bid for this hotel. I wouldn't have known which area to bid without that help.
