Hi everybody,

new post because of different dates. I wanted to fix up the last night of my forthcoming holiday on the east coast. Coming back from Boston on Saturday 6/10, I wanted to stay in JC before departing from EWR on Sunday 6/11. I feel safer not to have the 250mi drive on my departing day.

First I selected Jersey City 3* and bid $72. Counteroffer came up, saying if I would increase by $22 I could bid again. I declined, added Elizabeth and bid $73, which was rejected w/o counteroffer.

Then I started over, selecting Jersey City 2,5* (hoping for the Courtyard) and bid $74 which was immediately accepted and I received an upgrade to 3*.
