Total Newb here..

I can kinda cheated a little bit as there has been a rash of Grand Hyatt bids getting accepted for under $150/night, so I kinda expected to get it, which is a good thing.

I originally booked the Marriott Marquis for $200/night using military discount but from hearing the problems of being right in Times square, I opted out of it.

Anyone know why this hotel is not getting filled up?

Well, I can't wait for my trip.

Just booked my flight and bought some Spamalot broadway tickets for that weekend. I ended up getting it on Ticketsnow.com for about $150/ticket orchestra direct view.. A premium to pay for a sold out show (Even though i wanted Wicked originally)..

a big thanks to everyone here for the tips and I'm bound to come back for more. :) :o :)

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that my original bid was:

MTE 4*- $130- Rejected

clicked on the link to change the area, rating, etc.

selected:

MTE and MTW 4*- $145- accepted.

:)
