Preferred Express Hotel Means?

I am looking at a PRICELINE EXPRESS Hotel.  On the listing it says it is Preferred.

What does Preferred mean? 

I called Priceline but they don't know.

I think you are right.  I used your link and got the Holiday Inn Plainview NY.
