But wondering if there is a better deal to be had on priceline. I am looking to pay something comprable or even less if possibel. $75-$90. I know this may be unrealistic for the summer in San Francisco, any help would be greatly appreciated. Anything close to Union Square or Fisherman's Wharf is great. Thank You Link to comment

Keoni Posted March 13, 2006 Report Share Posted March 13, 2006 I followed the bidding strategy above from start to finish on two different attempts.The third time through on the final round, ["USE, USW, FW" + rebid zone 3] I increasedthe bids by $5.00 and on the final bid of $95.00 I hit for the Hilton Financial District for the period 16 March - 20 March. $95 x 4 nights = $380.00 + 65.80 tax/fees.I used the "add a night feature" and added on the 15th to the front of the trip for$95.00 + $21.47 in taxes and fees. All in for 5 nights comes to $562.27 so stay with the strategy, it works.... As always, started my trip at the Barn...:) This appears to be a new win for priceline and it does not show up in the PL list forSan Francisco nor is it on the PL Map for SF.
