tyles Posted December 22, 2019 Report Posted December 22, 2019 I have a backup reservation that I don't mind keeping, but would like to switch to being in the Disney bubble if possible. Am I correct in my thinking that this should be Caribbean, Coronado or Port Orleans Riverside? Booking for 2 adults, 2 children. 3.5* Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek area $349 $244 Free internet Free parking Airport shuttle Business center Fitness center Pool(s) Resort Restaurant(s) Smoke-free rooms Bed choices are Hotel chooses and "Preferred Room".
thereuare Posted December 22, 2019 Report Posted December 22, 2019 For this offer: 3.5* HOTWIRE Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek for $244 Free parking Free internet Resort Airport shuttle Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center ==> Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is my best guess for this one Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. tyles Posted December 22, 2019 Author Report Posted December 22, 2019 Thank you for the prompt reply. Do you think this may go down any in the next week? I'm weighing a Disney Springs hotel booked on points with car rental/Uber vs being in the Disney bubble where I won't have to worry about any transport and it just seems easier.
thereuare Posted December 22, 2019 Report Posted December 22, 2019 Nobody can say if rates will come down, more higher, or if this HOTWIRE offer disappears entirely in the next week. I'm not seeing any 'retail' hotel availability for 3.5* hotels in this zone thru HOTWIRE or PRICELINE, so i would suspect that occupancy is high. Sure, a large tour group with 100+ rooms booked could suddenly have a need to cancel their plans and the hotel would find itself with a glut of rooms available and the price would likely come down, but with what little insight we do have as to hotel occupancy levels, i would not necessarily expect to see a major drop in price in the weeks ahead (with the caveat that there really is no way to know with any high degree of certainty) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
