NicoleFnJane
I highly don’t recommend Queens County Inn & Suites personally. A friend stayed there in September and moved twice before going to another hotel. i highly recommend the Ravel in the area or literally any of the 4 stars in LIC. The Wingate is brand new too Link to comment
thereuare
NicoleFnJane, Thanks for the info! AMBERW, As i'm sure you're finding out, or were already aware, historically this is one of the most expensive weekends in NYC. What are your needs from a hotel for this nite and what is your maximum budget? (per nite before fees/taxes) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. AMBERW
I ended up booking a hotel very expensive with my points. What was so special about the weekend that it was so expensive? Link to comment
thereuare
Thank you for closing this thread with your decision. 14 minutes ago, AMBERW said: What was so special about the weekend that it was so expensive? The 1st two weeks of December are typically some of the busiest of the year as lots of tourists (especially from overseas) come to NYC to see the window displays and for for last minute holiday shopping. If making this trip in the future if you can delay your arrival until after 12/15 (or even better until after the weekend following 12/15) you should see substantially lower rates. Prices tend to stay low until a few days before New Year's Eve, after which time they tend to drop again and stay low throughout January and February (excluding the nites around Valentine's Day) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
