thereuare Posted August 20, 2019 Report Posted August 20, 2019 Do you have to be directly in Times Square or just need to have fairly easy access to that area? How about: 4.5* Madison Square Garden - Convention Area (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $112/nite with: Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Free Internet in room Fitness Center Free Internet in public areas ==> Crowne Plaza HY36 Midtown Manhattan would be my best guess here... fairly new hotel (~2 years old) that has been getting great reviews and a 5 minute walk to the start of Times Square Would this work for your needs this trip? If not, what is your expected budget for this trip? truelies Posted August 20, 2019 Author Report Posted August 20, 2019 Easy access to that area is ok. This is a great hotel, but the fee & tax is very high?
thereuare Posted August 20, 2019 Report Posted August 20, 2019 Yes, that is high, i suspect that it includes the hotel resort fee (i looked for the 'mandatory fee' section and didn't see it so i though perhaps the hotel has stopped charging it, but now that i see the 'taxes and fees' i'm guessing that this includes the resort fee... but unfortunately know way to know for certain until somebody purchases and reports back). Unfortunately the majority of higher end hotels in NYC now charge a resort fee, so you may very well have to pay one regardless, but some other ideas in the area: 4* Madison Square Garden - Convention Area (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $106/nite with: Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Fitness Center ==> EVEN Hotels New York - Times Square South 4* Rockefeller Center - Bryant Park (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $113/nite with: Restaurant Free Internet available Free Internet Fitness Center ==> CLUB QUARTERS HOTEL TIMES SQUARE - MIDTOWN 3.5* Empire State Building Area (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $138/nite with: Free Internet Free Breakfast Free Internet in room Fitness Center Free Internet in public areas ==> Springhill Suites Midtown Manhattan/Fifth Avenue 4* HOTWIRE Rockefeller Center for $108 Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet ==> New York Hilton Midtown... there is a $30/nite resort fee at this property and is most an impersonal business hotel, but it is just at the northern end of Times Square if location is most important for what you're looking for 3.5* HOTWIRE Times Square for $115 Free Internet Boutique Smoke Free Fitness ==> Ameritania Times Square One of the above work for your needs and budget?
