LoneStar Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Interesting win -- seems like a very good deal at that price to be actually ON Palm Beach. Looks like the published rates start north of $250.The problem with priceline's "Palm Beach" zone is that it includes both the mainland and Palm Beach island. A little like if their "Manhattan" zone included North Jersey!I'd obviously be willing to bid more to guarantee being on Palm Beach than if I could get "stuck" with a W. Palm Beach property.FWIW, the exterior of this hotel must be very ugly because the hotel's website doesn't include a shot! Indeed, they seem to be doing their best to show you as little of the hotel as possible! But they've definitely got location.
LoneStar Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Good reviews, too. Including a shot of the exterior (weird, but not THAT ugly!).http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews...ch_Florida.htmlIt would be nice if they separated W. Palm from Palm Beach and you could bid for this specifically. I guess they don't have enough inventory on Palm Beach to do that, however.
