J0Y0US
Haven't used Priceline in a long time but saw betterbidding on another forum and they said this might be a good place to come for help. Is it plausible to be able to book two rooms for OnSite through Priceline (or Hotwire)? We were looking at 9/3 - 9/9 or 9/10 to 9/16 but pretty flexible on dates. Big thing is staying on site (or Swan/Dolphin) based. It would be 2 Adults + 1 Kids (under 3) in each room. How far out do Priceline Express rooms start to show up? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! PRICELINE and HOTWIRE booking are available 330 days prior to your trip... sometimes the best deals are see far in advance of check-in (and then can disappear as you are closer to arrival); sometimes vice-versa and the opposite is true. It all depends upon what the hotel expects demand to be like and how actual demand comes in relative to expectations. Is an on-site 3 star acceptable or what is the minimum star rating you're looking for in a hotel for this trip? What is your maximum budget (per room per nite before fees/taxes)? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know the information above regarding desired minimum star rating and maximum budget and we'll take it from there. J0Y0US
3 Star would be fine as I understand it that is the All Star resorts which would be fine. Our budget is flexible but for the All Star type of resorts we likely would want to see it under $115 a night (higher and we likely would book through Disney for more flexibility). Swan/Dolphin/Deluxe we likely would hope for under $210 a night. Thanks for the information on the timeline as well. Oh also what about the 2 rooms? Is it something where you would just book the same Expres deal 2 times? Link to comment

No, you would book 2 rooms on the one reservations (see BiddingHelper.com for example where the search form has an option as to how many rooms you want to book). You could book one room at a time, but it's not recommended, as what would happen if after the first purchase the same hotel is not offered when you go to purchase the second room. I'm not sure if you have looked at rates but $115/nite for a 3/3.5 star seems low for what i'm currently seeing at the moment. The closest i'm seeing that matches your target would be: 4.5* Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $218/nite with: Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center ==> Walt Disney World Swan Hotel would be my best guess for this one... the BetterBidding Priceline Coupon takes an extra 5% off which brings this to within your budget The one issue with this offer though is that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel. Sometimes you can find a PRICELINE EXPRESS offer that shows a bed choice and you can then ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone in your party, but unfortunately this property does not show a bed choice option which means the hotel will assign your room based upon what is available at check-in. If you're going to try 'stretch' the occupancy terms Orlando is one of the better places to do so since the entire area is used to accommodation families and therefore a majority of the rooms are designed to accommodate more than double occupancy (vs. for example, NYC, where it is riskiest since space is at a premium, rooms are notoriously smaller than elsewhere in the country, and hotels have a high percentage of rooms with only one bed).
