Grodecki Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 I am looking to book two rooms for the long weekend in August - 3 nights: 8/4-8/7. These hotels have come up and wondering if anyone has a best guess?3 * Hotel - This midscale establishment offers more than just the basics in style, comfort and customer service. Icons are: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Center,Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Business Center$64per roomper nightand this one which is a 2* and the only icon is Pool(s) with a rate of $61 per room per night. Nearly impossible I think to pick this one out. Thanks for any help! :)
thereuare Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Actually, does the 2* also show Complimentary Breakfast in addition to the pool icon? How many people are you including on your search? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Grodecki Posted March 10, 2006 Author Report Posted March 10, 2006 Hi! I tried for 2 rooms with 2 adults and 1 child in each room. The 3* hotel price has increased now to $71.00 per room per night. As far as the 2* hotel...the only icon is the Pool(s) and that rate remains at $64 per room per night. Thanks again.
thereuare Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Neither of the above have been identified, but if i were to take a guess i'd think the 3* is either the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center or the Holiday Inn, while my guess for the 2* would be the Days Inn.Let us know whatever you decide to do or if we can be of further help. Grodecki Posted March 10, 2006 Author Report Posted March 10, 2006 Thanks! I was thinking the 2* might be the Days Inn as well...when I searched on the Orbitz site via a link from betterbidding.com, I noticed the only icon was the Pool, just as Hotwire has shown. For the 3* star.. I would love for it to be the Holiday Inn...very tempting to try it and see. Will keep you posted. We have time to book as the dates aren't until mid summer, but it is a long weekend, so will watch Hotwire closely. Priceline does not seem to have many hits for Regina...hard to find any info really. I must say I love this board, compared to the other one I found! So friendly and helpful!Debbie
Grodecki Posted October 16, 2006 Author Report Posted October 16, 2006 We ended up staying at the Country Inn and Suites for the reunion weekend in August. However, my sister did try the Hotwire 2* and it definitely was Days Inn Regina. The icons were Complimentary breakfast and Pool(s). Sorry for not replying.
