redez
Hello, I just wanted to let you know that we're at the Hilton in Santa Fe and they're saying they don't have a reservation for us. They called Priceline and aren't getting a response. This is the second time this has happened. Now we're spending our day in the hotel trying to figure out where we're going to stay. Can someone please assist us? Link to comment
thereuare
Sorry to hear you're having an issue... do you have the email confirmation from PRICELINE indicating the confirmation number, dates, of your stay, etc? Have you shown this confirmation to the hotel? (even if you have to pull up the email on your phone) I'm not sure why the hotel is indicating that they are not getting a response as priceline customer service is staffed 24/7. I would recommend calling priceline yourself at (877) 477-5807 and let them know that you're having an issue checking in and have them call the hotel to resolve. Good luck and let us know how you make out. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
redez
Yes, the hotel says it's not a valid confirmation number from Priceline. I've been on hold with Priceline for 20 minutes. The Hilton says they're sold out and can't give us a room. Link to comment
thereuare
Hopefully you're not on hold too long with priceline as they are usually pretty good about getting somebody on the line when there is a same-day issue (i assume you entered your booking number when prompted) and they are the only ones that can help rectify the situation since they are the ones who made the booking on your behalf. Good luck and let us know what happens. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
redez
The hotel and I were both on the phone with Priceline, separately, and both hung up after 1-hour on hold. The lady helping me came back and asked me to continue holding about 30 minutes in. The Hilton gave us a room and said they hope someone doesn't show for their reservation tonight. Link to comment
AaronJB
Very sorry to hear that it took a while to get things settled, but glad to hear that you were able to get a room for the night. Hope you have a great stay at this Hilton property. Link to comment
redez
Thank you for your timely responses. That was helpful. Priceline said it was Hilton's mistake, Hilton said it was Priceline's. Either way, we're settled in and enjoying Santa Fe. Link to comment
