raullopeztx Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 Like everyone else, I'm looking for a Disney Property for May 15 - 20th. On Priceline I found a 4.5* Hotel in the Bonnet Creek Area. $208/night. Amenities show as - Bed Choice Available Outdoor Swimming Pool Fitness Center Business Center Spa Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Handicapped Rooms/facilities Swimming Pool It says someone just booked this hotel for $688. At the bottom it says in could be the following or others: Disney Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Animal Kingdom Lodge or Four Seasons . Grand Floridan is listed for $688 and is the only 4.5*. Could it be the Grand Floridan? I'd appreciate any help or tips anyone can provide. Thank you
thereuare Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 Welcome to BetterBidding! I believe this is the property you're seeing: 4.5* Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $208/nite with: Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center ==> if this is what you're seeing best guess for this one would be The Disney Swan I do see the 'facts' that you indicate above, and although i can see how the Grand Floridian is a possibility (i can't rule it out), i think the Swan is more likely for this one. For example (just one bit of info that has me leaning towards The Swan)... assuming we are looking at the same property, i see a resort fee for this offer; the Swan charges a resort fee and (afaik) the Grand Floridian does not. Would the Swan work for your needs this trip? If not, what is the minimum star rating you're willing to accept and what is your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes) for this stay? raullopeztx Posted April 3, 2019 Author Report Posted April 3, 2019 Thanks for your reply. The Swan would be great. Either one really. When I go to checkout it doesn't show me the additional resort fees, which it usually does (in the past) so that's why I'm confused. It just means I would have to rent a car instead of taking the Magical Express. UPDATE: I just saw the link you provided does have the additional resort fee. It shows up on the desktop but when looking on my phone it wasn't there previously.
thereuare Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 It's possible that we're seeing two different properties, but i believe the room descriptions were identical, which leads me to believe they are likely the same property (with a glitch that the resort fee is showing thru one link but not the other) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. raullopeztx Posted April 3, 2019 Author Report Posted April 3, 2019 Thank you so much for your quick reply, it's absolutely wonderful! I'll definitely book through the link for purchase. Just waiting on my Mother in law to confirm and we are GTG!
