Has no tripadvisor rating which has me worried and there don't seem to be any newer confirmations for this rating/area

I can't add much insight into this property, but i do see that it is only offered when searching for 7+ nights, so i'm going to guess it may be a timeshare property.

 

Do you need a Condo for this trip or were you just attracted to this based upon the price?

The price is certainly attractive and its for 2 adults and 2 kids. I don't care too much about having a resort type hotel and actually rather avoid all the fees typically associated with a resort (resort fee, parking, internet, etc) and the condo would probably work out better with being able to cook some meals. I'm a little confused as its listed as a condo and also 2.3 star "hotel" rating. I'm assuming it's some kind of efficiency setup with a bed and sleeper sofa since it also mentions kitchenette? I also assume it's not a property right on the beach or that would be one of the attractions.

Just to follow up I was able to find a timeshare preview at the Hyatt Ka'anapali Beach for $1000 at a 2bed/2bath for the first 5 nights and I will probably use hotwrire for the last two nights of my trip
