DCVA Posted February 21, 2019 Report Posted February 21, 2019 Date: April 20-22,2019 ( 2 nights) stars: 5 Area: Piazza Navona - Pantheon Price: $271 per night Amenities:Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Spa, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Roll-in Shower The "What hotel is this (click me)" algorithm predicts that the best guess would be Hotel Indigo Rome - St. George. Just want to double check if you agree that would be the guess. Also, would it be possible to book it two one-night stays separately (one for April 20, the other for April 21) and hoping to get the same hotel so that I can use the $30 off $200 , so that will bring the cost down to about $241 per night for both nights. Thanks!
AaronJB Posted February 21, 2019 Report Posted February 21, 2019 I'm seeing: 5* HOTWIRE Piazza Navona - Pantheon for $271.00 Free Internet Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet Spa Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> I'll agree with the guess of the Indigo. The $30 promotion is for new customers and I believe it's a one time only. Booking two nights separately is a risk because there's the possibility that a hotel may not be available when searching for one of the nights separately vs both together. Additionally, there's always the risk of inventory for one of the nights running out of inventory in the time between booking one night and the other. Overall, there's a risk of ending up staying in two separate hotels. Let us know what you decide or if we can be of any further assistance. DCVA Posted February 22, 2019 Author Report Posted February 22, 2019 Thank you for the info. I'm currently comparing another hotel from Expedia vs this Indigo from HOTWIRE. The Indigo from hotwire will toatal about $100 more with taxes and fees. I'll let you know once I decide. Thanks again!
thereuare Posted February 22, 2019 Report Posted February 22, 2019 The Expedia rate should be the same as the Hotwire tab of our MAPS and HOTELS.com. DCVA Posted February 22, 2019 Author Report Posted February 22, 2019 I went ot maps and hotels.com and put in rome, italy for April 20-22, i looked under the hotwire tab and nothing showed up. I haven't used mapsandhotels.com before but you're saying i can find the hotel that i saw on Expedia on mapsandhotels.com as well?
thereuare Posted February 22, 2019 Report Posted February 22, 2019 HOTWIRE and Expedia are owned by the same parent company, so you can usually find the same inventory and pricing at both sites (and our MAPS and HOTELS.com displays the inventory and pricing from Hotwire). What is the hotel and price that you're looking at from Expedia? (or you can simply use the Expedia link in this post if this is the route you decide to take) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
DCVA Posted February 22, 2019 Author Report Posted February 22, 2019 I'm looking at Mood44 hotel on Expedia. It doesn't show the name when I search on Hotwire.
thereuare Posted February 22, 2019 Report Posted February 22, 2019 HOTWIRE doesn't assign a star rating to this property (could be for a variety of reasons) and there are literally hundreds of '0 star' hotels on any given search location which substantially slows down the loading of the map (often crashing the browser), so we don't display a hotel unless it has a star rating. Anyway, i have found the hotel and built a link for you (please confirm the correct hotel and dates on the landing page): Mood 44 (or THIS LINK if you need to search for alternate dates) Thanks. DCVA Posted February 28, 2019 Author Report Posted February 28, 2019 Thank you. One other question. With either Priceline, Priceline Express, or Hotwire, would the rate include the breakfast? thanks.!
thereuare Posted February 28, 2019 Report Posted February 28, 2019 If the hotel offers a free breakfast as a standard amenity to all guests then you should be entitled to that too... but usually if it's a standard amenity it will also be among the amenity list show in the offer.
