Travel dates Jan 30-Feb 1st family of four 4* plus

We are travelling to new york and will be spending a week in Jersey City but our last two nights we would like to spend in a more central location. It is our first time in New York and we are a family of four (children 8 and 15). Given it is our last two nights we are looking for something special, potentially 4.5 or 5* and are willing to pay $200-$250 all in. We are flexible on the location and open to suggestions!
