AprilVA Posted October 16, 2018 Report Posted October 16, 2018 Looking for a 4+ star hotel in Midtown East area for under $300 per night. Thanks in advance!
thereuare Posted October 16, 2018 Report Posted October 16, 2018 Please start by concluding your previous Bahamas Priceline hotel thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your results/decisions as you receive them so that the information can best help others in a timely manner. For your NYC trip, to clarify, are you looking to bid on PRICELINE and looking for a bidding strategy to follow? Is MTE the only acceptable zone for this trip? Please confirm the above and we will advise accordingly. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
AprilVA Posted October 20, 2018 Author Report Posted October 20, 2018 Yes, looking to bid on OR perhaps a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal. MTE is really the area we want to be in if possible.
thereuare Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 At current rates i'm doubtful that you will be success for a 4* or higher hotel in the MTE zone with a $300 or less bid, but if you want to give it a try you can try as follows: When bidding 4* in NYC you have ELEVEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. Select 4* MTE... Bid $175, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $200, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $210, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $215, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $220, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $225, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $230, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $235, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $240, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $245, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $250, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $255 NOTE that priceline continues to move / hide the bidding form so we have set up this page for quick and easy access: BiddingForHotelRooms.com I stopped at $255 above since if that is rejected i would just take this deal from HOTWIRE (don't forget our Hotwire Coupon takes an extra 5% off) or the last PRICELINE EXPRESS deal listed below: 4* HOTWIRE Midtown East for $282.00 Free Internet Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet ==> best guess for this one would be the Club Quarters Hotel, Grand Central I'll also mention the following simply because it is close to MTE and it's a very good price for this weekend, but admittedly the reviews are not that greatest: 4* Grand Central Terminal - UN (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $226/nite with: Pets Allowed Fitness Center Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Westgate New York City 4* Grand Central Terminal - UN (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $270/nite with: Fitness Center Restaurant ==> Hotel Boutique At Grand Central (NOTE: this is in PRICELINE's Grand Central zone but as per above is in HOTWIRE's Midtown East zone, i'm assuming this gets you close enough to to the area you want to be?)... also a chance this is also the Club Quarters but the two are 'sister' properties and operate out of the same building Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
AprilVA Posted October 29, 2018 Author Report Posted October 29, 2018 Think $350 would give some better options as far as the express deals go?
