thereuare Posted September 20, 2018 Report Posted September 20, 2018 Welcome to BetterBidding! To avoid any confusion, which zones by PRICELINE name is it that you are looking to bid on? (if you're unsure of the zones and their name please start your search at BiddingForHotelRooms.com and a search for 'Las Vegas, NV' and your dates will show you the official priceline zone names) However, i will add that with The Trump (usually the least expensive 5* hotel in one of the Strip zones) currently selling for $294/nite for your dates, i think your objective of landing a 4.5* or better at less than $100/nite for these dates seems highly unlikely at the moment. If you are unsuccessful at $100 or less what is your gameplan... wait it out and try again in the days/weeks ahead, lower your star rating, increase your budget, or consider staying off-strip? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. traveller86 Posted September 20, 2018 Author Report Posted September 20, 2018 Hi thanks for the reply. So if I lower the rating to 4 will i get hotels on the strip for 100 ? I think north east side have cheaper hotels right ? Also can you give examples of 4 star hotels
AaronJB Posted September 20, 2018 Report Posted September 20, 2018 At $100 or under, you're probably looking at 3.5* properties. A couple of examples on HOTWIRE: 3.5* HOTWIRE North Strip - Fashion Show Mall for $91.00 Free Parking Free Internet Resort Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Best guess would be the Stratosphere 3.5* HOTWIRE South Strip - T-Mobile Arena for $96.00 Resort Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Best guess would be the Luxor For a 4* on the Strip, you're likely looking at around $120-125. You can see the hotels on HOTWIRE (Hotwire Hotel List) and Priceline (Priceline Hotel List) that have been reported to the board at those two links. Those lists only show what has been reported to the board. Let us know your thoughts on the above. traveller86 Posted September 20, 2018 Author Report Posted September 20, 2018 Hmm.. Ok. I think I would increase it to $120 - 125. Where should I expect the 4* hotels.
thereuare Posted September 20, 2018 Report Posted September 20, 2018 At the 4* level i'm seeing: 4* HOTWIRE North Strip - Fashion Show Mall for $137.00 Free Parking Free Internet Resort Boutique Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa ==> SLS Las Vegas Hotel and Casino 4* HOTWIRE Center Strip - Eiffel Tower for $135.00 Pet Friendly Boutique Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Spa ==> The LINQ Hotel and Casino Both of these are also offered on PRICELINE EXPRESS but the above would be cheaper when using our current Hotwire Coupon. Do either of these work for your needs? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
