Tabata Posted August 5, 2018 Report Posted August 5, 2018 Hi I need some help. I am from Brazil and I am going with a friend to New York. We were going to stay at a friends house, but he cancelled in the very last minute. We are shocked that the prices have gone sky rocket! We are checking in September 9 and checking out September 20th. We need some help to find something reasonable for 100 dollars a day for a double room. I know its hard to find, but if you could help us... We also don´t mind staying in Brooklyn. So if you could help us find a good deal in Manhattan or Brooklyn we would be really glad. Thank you very much Tabata
thereuare Posted August 5, 2018 Report Posted August 5, 2018 Welcome to BetterBidding! Your budget is not realistic for one hotel for your complete stay... i haven't looked if it would help, but is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option? (if so, how many times would you be willing to change properties) Do you fly into JFK or Newark (EWR) or are you arriving to NYC by some other means? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Tabata Posted August 15, 2018 Author Report Posted August 15, 2018 Hi, Thank you a lot for your quick and kind answer! We decided to rent an apartment . We couldn´t afford a room in a hotel in the city for our vacation during this period without compromising our entire budget. Regards
thereuare Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 Thank you for closing this thread with your decision. Enjoy the NYC leg of your trip. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
