Priceline Hotel: 5* Las Vegas Strip 9/11-9/14 - Hotel Help

After securing such a good hotel for our NYC trip I am now looking for something special for our few days in Vegas.

 

It's my partners birthday so I'm looking for something really special. I'd originally reserved a fancy suite at the Delano for the first 2 nights ($200 per night) but now I'm in search of a better deal. I was thinking maybe go for 2 nights one end of the strip and our last night the other? Really open to suggestions though. I've researched all of the top hotels and just can't seem to pick a favourite... I'm looking to stay around that $200 mark (inc resort fee) but budget is flexible if it's something amazing.

 

Any recommendations?

Personally, I wouldn't necessarily split a 3 nite stay between different ends of the strip... i would only start to consider that for a 4 nite trip (although switching hotels that are walkable and very close to each other would be OK).

 

Not sure if you have been to Vegas before, but the Delano is near the very southern end of the strip and not easily walkable to other 'destination' hotels.

 

My suggestion would be this PRICELINE EXPRESS which admittedly does start to push your budget a bit:

5* The Strip - Northeast (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $169/nite with:
Free Parking
Fitness Center
Casino
Restaurant
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
Indoor or Outdoor Pool
==> Palazzo is my best guess here which is a beautiful property, better location than Delano as it is nearby the hotels i most like to visit (Venetian, Wynn, Mirage, Caesars, etc)... very small chance of the Wynn but i like that property too

 

If you did want to book the Delano i believe it is this property offered thru PRICELINE EXPRESS:

5* The Strip - Southwest (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $84/nite with:
Pets Allowed
Fitness Center
Restaurant
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
Free Internet
Indoor or Outdoor Pool

I might hold out for a bit/have a look on Hotwire instead if the Delano is a bit out of the way (I’m not all that keen on the Palazzo).

It's one of my favorite Vegas properties, but so we can get a better idea of your likes/dislikes, can you let us know what it is about the Palazzo that you don't like?
