I bid $110 as my first bid and it was accepted. Travelzoo had a promo for this hotel starting at $159, but I thought I'd try PRICELINE first. Bid placed through the Better Bidding link to PRICELINE.

(I should have known to come here in the first place!). So its nice to know about this other feature as well. They surely don't make it easy!
