ghostwriter
Hey everyone,I am going to Singapore from 05/12 to 05/15.I'd like to stay in a 5* hotel and don't want to spend more than 85/90 US$ as I can get a 4* incl. breakfast and taxes for 100 $.I think there are just 2 priceline zones with 5* hotels, and both are fine for me.Any bidding advice is really appreciated! Thanks! thereuare
As new hotels and upgrades occur all the time, and to avoid us having to go thru each zone to see which ones you are refering to, please let us know which two zones you want to bid in order to avoid any confusion. Chris26WI
Maybe you might assume a 4-star hotel in Marina Bay zone as well... the Swissotel is excellent, and if the Mandarin Marina comes up.. you could be lucky as well. Just prevent Orchard road and other zones for 4-star.Well, your budget doesn't allow a lot of advices for 5star as you will probably not get any 5-star in Singapore for below 80-90$ bid (what came up for Orchard road zone and Marina Bay zone as 5stars)... just try if it works out or not... ghostwriter
I'd prefer the city hall/marina bay zone. But I'd also take a 5* hotel at the orchard road zone, if I can't get one at marina bay.The Swissotel is one of my favorites so far. I could get that one for a littler more than 100$ incl. breakfast and taxes. That's why I want to try to get some lower prices. Thanks Link to comment
thereuare
So would you want to try for the City Hall/Marina Bay zone up to your limit and then try for the Orchard Road zone... or whichever you could get for less? ghostwriter
Yep, I'd like to try for the city hall marina zone and then orchard. :) If it's not going to work, I could still lower my star level to 4 and bid a bit less. Thanks! Link to comment
Chris26WI
Yepp, but I wouldn't try 4star for Orchard road.. too risky (Elizabeth hotel, Meridien) Link to comment
