The amenities you listed in your previous post as the same as those above so my guess would remain with the Marriott.

Could be any of a variety of reasons... try to mask the underlying hotel, language barrier, etc.  We used to very frequently see things that didn't always make a lot of sense such as a hotel listing Oceanfront, Beachfront, and/or Near Beach (sometimes you would see 2 out of 3 used for the same hotel)

There is no telling if prices will drop, move higher, or if this offer disappears from the search results entirely.

 

If you do choose to wait, you can use our RateDrop service to monitor PRICELINE EXPRESS rates for a 4.5* hotel in this zone and/or monitor rates specifically for the Cancun Marriott... if the price drops you'll get an email alerting you to the lower price; but how much lower would you expect the price of this property to go?

Thanks.  The price is good, the added daily resort fees add up which are shown after you get to the purchase page.  I tried your rate drop, but it did not work for hotwire.  I will try it again and for priceline, thanks.

 

PS:  I see at your ratedrop, it mentions priceline bids, I thought priceline discontinued their bidding.

With RateDrop, after doing a search and clicking on the HOTWIRE tab, are you able to click "Set Alert" next to the listing? If not, please let us know.

 

PRICELINE bidding still exists although it's not as visible on the PRICELINE website. You can go directly to it by going to BiddingHelper.com, searching for location and dates then clicking on the "PRICELINE" tab.

If you are having trouble with RateDrop please let us know the exact issue/error you're encountering as it was completely re-written and re-launched a few months ago with an entirely new backend.  It works for PRICELINE EXPRESS, HOTWIRE, as well as regular rate hotels.
