hey_Tito
I'm hoping to get a hotel under $120. I can see that what looks to be the McCarren Hotel & Pool (4* hotel, located at Greenpoint - Williamsburg (Brooklyn) is currently $153 on Express Deals. Do you think that I could bid and win for this hotel at a lower price than the Express Deal? What would be your strategy for 'Name Your Own Price'? Link to comment
thereuare
When bidding on PRICELINE you may not necessarily receive the same hotel that is currently offered on PRICELINE EXPRESS. I'm doubtful that you will be able to land a 4* hotel in this same zone at under $120/nite but if you wanted to give it a try you could proceed as follows: When bidding 4* in NYC you have ELEVEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. Select 4* Greenpoint - Williamsburg Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $103, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $108, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $113, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $118, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $120 The easiest way to get to the PRICELINE bidding page is either thru our BiddingHelper.com tool or the new site we have set up for priceline bidding: BiddingForHotelRooms.com Any questions feel free to ask (especially confirming your re-bid zones if you're new to the subject or unsure) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
