Now I have a question, does HOTWIRE or PRICELINE discount the resort fees to conceal the identity of the hotel?

I remembered when I bid on this hotel a few years back on Priceline, I don't remember any resort fees.

But that may have changed with the hotel as well.

I have added the amenities for this property to your post above, please let us know if this is not correct, and include this information in future threads.

 

This property only recently started to charge a resort fee (along with an increasing number of NYC hotels).  The resort fee is approximate as it is not always updated in a timely manner, sometimes it includes taxes, sometimes it is before taxes, etc, etc.   So while you may be able to use this information to determine between a hotel that charges a $10 resort fee vs. a $40 resort fee (or a hotel that charges a resort fee vs. a hotel that does not charge any resort fee)... it is not very reliable when trying to determine between a hotel that charges a $25 resort fee vs. a $30 resort fee, as these values are just too close to be used with any degree of certainty given the reasons mentioned above.
