Priceline Hotel: 4* Vancouver (Downtown - Coal Harbor, Stanley Park, Convention Center) Coast Coal Harbour Hotel

Hi, I am back at Priceline bidding after a few years off. I am trying to get a 4*+ hotel in Vancouver Coal harbour or entertainment district for one night, May 27. I have tried multiple times:  5  and 4.5 star bids up to $200, and  4 star bids up to $150, and had no success. There aren't many recent wins posted on here, so I am curious about what bids have worked in Vancouver recently?

I'm on a bit of a slow internet connection at the moment so was not able to see if there are any other external factors effecting demand (and therefore prices), but i assume the likely culprit is cruise ship season and that you're nite is on an embarkation/disembarkation day.

 

However, you may have already bid too much, as i am seeing this PRICELINE EXPRESS offer, which is less than you have already bid for the same star rating and zone:
