Did not do that and used free bidding zones to increase in increments of € 5 and was accepted at € 65 (in total € 81,15 including costs). Was quite surprised to win this hotel, was expecting/hoping the Marriott Sugar Land which I have booked before (and which I like very much). Price is not so good, regular rates are almost similar, probably a little lower (about $ 100, which is about € 80). So not so happy. But good to know this is a 3.5 star as well; new in the area ...
mattrob Posted April 23, 2018 Author Report Posted April 23, 2018 Oh, I see I did something wrong in the header; it was € 65 as a winning bid. I did get a refund of priceline of € 4,04, the difference with the lowest rate on the hotel's website. So no big win here !

Still, this is a well-reviewed and newer property, so hopefully it will be a nice stay.
