dubstar27 Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to hotel bidding on Priceline/Hotewire. I'd like your help. My family and I are planning a road trip to NYC August 3 -5, 2018. We are looking to find a nice 4* hotel in the midtown area (close to central park). We are even open to upper east side or upper west side. We are looking spend $150-170 USD a night for a 4* hotel. Any advice would be great! Thanks.
AaronJB Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 Welcome to Betterbidding. AaronJB Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 I'm seeing on HOTWIRE when searching for 2 adults and 2 children: 4* HOTWIRE Gramercy - Union Square for $149.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Laundry Hi-Speed Internet ==> Best guess here would be the relatively new Freehand. However, I will note that there is a $19 resort fee, so this is $168 per night with that. 4.5* HOTWIRE Rockefeller Center for $177.00 Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Childrens Activities Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible ==> This would be a possible match for the Omni Berkshire. Would either of these possibilities be of interest? Let us know what you decide or if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
dubstar27 Posted April 21, 2018 Author Report Posted April 21, 2018 Yes, it was indeed the Freehand. I booked it using the HOTWIRE link provided above. It does seem like a very nice hotel for a good price. Thanks for your help!
AaronJB Posted April 22, 2018 Report Posted April 22, 2018 Congrats on your success. Excellent deal for this property which opened early this year. Glad you are pleased with the win and are looking forward to your stay. Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.
