Megz7383 Posted April 20, 2018 Report Posted April 20, 2018 I am looking for a four star or more hotel in Downtown Boston for 6/29-7/3. The hotel is for my mom and myself, so I would prefer 2 double bed, although I know that might be tricky. I have seen prices from $103 a night with PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals, but was wondering if I should try bidding, and if so, what strategy you might recommend? Thank you!
thereuare Posted April 20, 2018 Report Posted April 20, 2018 Welcome to BetterBidding! I'm not seeing any 4 star PRICELINE EXPRESS hotel offered at $103/nite for your dates but maybe it was this one: 4* Downtown Boston - Harbor Front (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $108/nite with: Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Omni Parker House would be my best guess for this one NOTE: 2 full beds is offered for $118 which does accomplish your objective of 2 beds in the room I'm also seeing this one which may be of interest: 4* Back Bay - Copley Square (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $140/nite with: Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> The Westin Copley Place, Boston is my best guess here So the question now becomes how much you like either of these hotels and want to try to target them (thru the PRICELINE EXPRESS offers above) vs. being willing to stay at any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you choose. If you like either of the properties above i would purchase thru PRICELINE EXPRESS (links directly to each offer are provided above)... if you don't care which 4 star hotel you receive in the zone then you could try bidding on PRICELINE for a slightly lower price (but if you save $5-$10/nite but receive a hotel that you don't like as much as one of those above would it be worth the savings?) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know your thoughts as to how you'd like to proceed, or how it goes if you take one of the properties above, and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
