Do you know if there is some event taking place in the city over these dates, as rates look to be pretty high.

 

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool start with the PRICELINE EXPRESS tab:

(NOTE: use the checkboxes on the left side to filter to just the one zone you're interested in and 3* and higher hotels)

The 4* hotel offered there is $700+ per nite... the 3* is $200+ (which is more than the 4* from HOTWIRE)

Still in this tab click the GREEN 'IS THIS A GOOD PRICE' button for the 4* hotels in this zone and you'll see 'real' hotels start at $275/nite.

 

Then swap to the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and repeat the above...

There are two 3.5* hotels, once offered for $145/nite but has a very low 55% recommendation from previous HOTWIRE guests (so the 4* above with a 95% recommendation and a 4.5/5.0 TA rating would be worth the extra $15/nite)... the other 3.5* is $256/nite, once again emphasizes how good of a deal the 4* would appear to be.

 

If there is something that is driving up demand, and the guessed Noelle Nashville works for your needs, i would grab that one thru HOTWIRE for the reasons indicated above, as i don't think there are many good options should this one disappear. (but first and foremost the guessed Noelle Nashville would need to be an acceptable hotel that works for your plans this trip)

Well, you may want to do some further research as prices indicate that something is going on, imo.

 

EDIT: i may have found it, or at least a contributing factor is a music convention, Summer 2018 NAMM June 28-30, with 13K attendees (which i think is a large convention for Nashville)
