Thank you.  It was the Intercontinental... seems like a very good deal.  Although I think the Pfister for $84 using HOTWIRE is probably preferred.

 

Do you have any advice for the Intercontinental as far as requesting room upgrades- either paid or complimentary?

Quite a good deal for the Intercontinental ($134 regular rate) which does get very good reviews. I'd casually inquire about room options at check-in and see what they say. They may say no in regards to upgrades on a discounted reservation, but given the rate it seems like this is a fairly quiet night in Milwaukee.
