If so, if you click the offer do you get to the booking page or a message that the offer is no longer available? 4* HOTWIRE World Trade Center - Wall Street for $142.00 Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible ==> New York Marriott Downtown is my best guess here I'm very familiar with NYC if you need further help or have specific needs for this stay. sumaysap Posted March 16, 2018 Author Report Posted March 16, 2018 Thanks! My friend wanted something in the midtown east area so she ended up booking a 4 star hotel there for $154/night. This excludes the $33/night resort fee. She got the Shelburne NYC-an Affinia Hotel. When did the NYC hotels start charging the resort fee?
sumaysap Posted March 16, 2018 Author Report Posted March 16, 2018 It was booked through HOTWIRE and she used the link from Betterbidding and saved via the coupon as well! Here are the amenities that were shown as associated to this property before it was revealed: Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access
AaronJB Posted March 16, 2018 Report Posted March 16, 2018 Very nice win for your friend! This well-located Affinia gets excellent reviews. Unfortunately, resort fees have become more and more common in the last 3-5 years. Thank you for telling your friend about betterbidding and using the site's HOTWIRE link to start their purchases and searches. Hope your friend enjoys their stay and has a nice time in NYC.
